Chakra Healing Stones

I recently added healing stones to my shop.  I find them quite beautiful and fascinating.  Chakra stone healing therapy involves placing gemstones on the body to draw out negative energy.  Here is a chart to help identify the stones.

If you would like a seven chakras bracelet like the one below, I ordered it from my favorite stone jewelry shop here.  If she does not have one listed, contact her and she will make one for you. :)

The seven stones are Garnet, Tiger's Eye, Orange Dyed Agate, Green Adventurine, Lapis Lazuli, Amethyst, and Quartzite.

Bath Bomb Fun

Today I made some bath bombs!  They were very difficult to make - they kept breaking!  But I made some good ones!  I can't wait to see how they are in the tub! :)  If they are awesome - I will sell them in my shop!  :)

My sister is getting married in 10 days, and I am her Maid of Honor.  She is a Walking Dead fan so I thought she might like these Zombie Scrubs for her guests.  I hope they enjoy them too! 😊

I Love Large Orders!

Last week I was eating my Turkey Lurkey lunch at Bob Evans,
and my phone "cha-chinged".  Woo hoo that means a sale!  I looked at it immediately of course...  

Someone bought 8 Zombie Scrubs, 10 Poison Apple Scrubs, 10 White Witch Creams, and 10 Witch Bouquet Creams.

I could barely contain myself from doing a happy dance right there in Bob Evans!

HAPPY!  HAPPY!  HAPPY!  DANCE!  DANCE!  DANCE!

Today I packaged them up and shipped them out.
Oh how I love what I do!  Now I hope they arrive safely!

Wedding Soaps

Last week I had a customer contact me about making 40 Vampire's Kiss soaps for her wedding on April 11.  At first I freaked, since that's only a few weeks away.  But then, I thought...  I CAN DO THIS!  So I created the soaps, put lovely packaging on them, and shipped them off today!

Bridesmaid's Gift Sets

Last week I had a customer order 6 Zombie Oils, 6 Soothe Yer Bones massage creams, and 6 Euphoria creams.  Then, I found out they were gifts for her bridesmaids.  How cool is that?

Well, I decided to be a creative little witch and added a special touch to these gifts by putting them in black organza bags.   

My customer was absolutely thrilled!    

New Product Coming Soon!

I am in the process of creating a new body butter cream that is absolutely delectable!  It is so wonderful that I just want to jump into my brewing cauldron and swim around in this delicious sweetness!  I hope you will love it too!

I Have Shipping OCD

Oh gracious.  I do have a terrible case of OCD.  Shipping OCD.  Last week I went to print my shipping labels, and my printer was out of ink.  My husband usually helps me with this but he was at work. What did I do?  I saved all of the labels in a pdf and emailed them to Staples, where they printed them for me.  Then I went and picked them up, taped them on my packages, and took them to the post office.

Then, on President's Day (yesterday) I worked on orders, and wanted to get them finished before the approaching big snow storm.  The post office was closed, the drop boxes were locked shut.  So I took my packages to Staples where a mail truck picks up mail every day at 11:00 am.  As the snow was starting to fall, I got all of my orders to Staples.  And I have my fingers crossed that a mail truck has picked them up today.  I'm glad I decided to do this, because we are snowed in here at home.

My husband thinks I'm batty when it comes to shipping my orders out.  But it is really important to me.  My creations and customers are so very special to me!  I'm so thankful that Staples has helped me out in a pinch!

UPDATE:  Tracking says the packages were picked up today!  Yay!

Hooray - I'm Open Again!

Well, my shop is open again! I am very excited to make my creations again. :)

My surgery went well, and I have been recovering nicely! I had an ovary removed and I'm a little sore but overall I'm feeling pretty good. Thanks so much for your patience during this time!

I also got a job recently, and will start tomorrow. I will be working at a Preschool with babies and toddlers. This will be splendid! We have not worked out my hours yet.... but there is a chance this could make me pretty busy. I'll still make my soap orders but I might only be able to ship on Saturdays. We'll see! I'll let you all know in my shop announcements. :)

Seriously, when her packages arrive to our household, it is better than Christmas here. The kids and the husband, and especially me, are jumping for joy as we open these sweet treasures. Chocolate covered pretzels, rocky road bark, chocolate covered peanut butter oreos.... truly amazing! And she is a lightening speed shipper too. She is currently doing at 20% off sale now... so go on over there and place an order and see what I mean. Your sweet tooth will be thanking you!

New Soapies

So yesterday I made some new soaps for a friend and decided to include them in my shop. I made a delightful "Red Currant & Thyme" and also a "Witches Brew" soap, and a "Zombie" soap. I will be adding something for the upcoming Christmas holidays soon that I think you all will love... you will just have to wait and see what I have bubbling in my cauldron!

Lavender Lemongrass Butter

I just listed this wildly euphoric new body butter... scented with lavender lemongrass. Quite amazing.

New Soaps Coming...

Yesterday I brewed 3 batches of new soaps. They are ready to cut and then will cure for 4 weeks. I made black raspberry soap which has actually turned into a cream color, so I will need to find a clever name. Then I made a chocolate soap and added real cocoa powder, but it smells sort of like card board at this point. So we shall see how it turns out in 4 weeks. If it turns out as good as planned, I will name that Death By Chocolate Soap. My 3rd batch of soap is a creamy white soap scented with white tea & ginger. The scent has really held up in this soap so far, I will name this Good Witch Soap. I am hoping these batches turn out okay and then I will add them to my shop. In the meantime I am working on some new body cream ideas as well. I also have lip balm in the works, and some more potions to come. Keep an eye on my shop for my latest bewitching (and possibly bewildering) creations!

Everyone Loves Zombies and Vampires...

I have been having so much fun with my new shop http://www.thebubblingcauldron.etsy.com/ every single aspect has been a fun challenge. Coming up with product ideas, names, labels, listing descriptions, packaging... I honestly love it all!

I'm not sure how these ideas come up, usually it is a quick joke coming from my husband "How about a Zombie Scrub, that removes dead skin?" Brilliant.

Then I thought of a body cream for Vampires. I named it Vampire's Kiss and it made it to the Dark Romance etsy gift guides. Awesome.

I had a customer write to me requesting a Werewolf item. Hmmmm. Werewolves. So I asked her for some ideas and she suggested a woodsy scent. My imagination took flight from there. I created a Werewolf body cream scented like a dark forest.

Also having fun with my Frankincense and Myrrh candles, smells amazing. So I hope you will take a moment to check out my shop and see what I've been up to...
